Ladd Bass

Ladd is a 6th generation Floridian, born and raised in Glades County. He is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Food and Resource Economics from the College of Agriculture.
Ladd has been deeply involved in the cattle industry for decades, earning extensive expertise in marketing and production. He has worked in animal health, cattle marketing and ranch management.
He has partnered with state and private entities in managing water storage projects, hunting leases and other agricultural enterprises.
He is a co-owner of B&S Ranch and Cattle, a commercial cow-calf operation in Hendry County.
Ladd resides in Lake Placid with his wife Renee. They have two children, Mattie (25) and Amery (22), who also live in Lake Placid.
Ladd is an avid hunter and saltwater fisherman.
